Founded in 1993, PR&D has been bringing user-centered design services to a wide variety of clients in the New York metro region. Services included usability research, focus groups, and customized corporate usability training. Clients have included banks and brokerages, "e-tailers," and large equipment designers who use computer interfaces to control equipment and processes. Projects are executed regularly throughout the United States and Canada. Although primary demand has been for software usability research (particularly web site designs), an increasing number of requests are for information architecture services.
Foreign usability research is also on the rise, with a growing interest in Europe and the far east. PR&D has especially good contacts for usability testing throughout Europe.
